Not spending much time at home this month… Just got back and we’re out the door again tomorrow, this time for Yachats, Oregon, and this year’s Northwest Surfrider conference. I’ve never been to Yachats and I’m looking forward to it.

Surfrider has been a partner with the Ikkatsu Project since we started and it’s a great organization doing amazing things related to ocean environmental protection and beach access. (I’d recommend that everyone join immediately and get involved in the work that needs to be done.) The conference is a time to network with other chapters in Oregon, Washington and British Columbia and to learn about the directions we’ll be taking in the months ahead. Looking forward to it.

Also looking forward to the water and getting the plastic bottle SUP out on a wave. I can’t imagine it’s going to be too efficient and there’s a real possibility that it will snap into 2 or more pieces in the process but there’s no other way to find out. There will be more on this soon, I’m sure.
