Steve posted a short film that he put together from footage taken at the Hyas yiem sea trials last Sunday at Point Defiance. It was a smashing success and with the boat construction questions more-or-less answered, expedition planning has become all about finalizing route choices and accompanying events. As of right now, we have beach cleanups scheduled for Olympia, Tacoma, Bainbridge Island, Anacortes and Bellingham. We’ll also be collecting data at specific points for some of the science projects we’re assisting, as well as collecting water samples at regular intervals along the way that will be used in a large microplastics survey.
